Policies, Terms and Conditions

General:  All purchases from TheVacuumCenter.com are subject to the following policies, terms and conditions.  By visiting our site or purchasing from us, you are expressly agreeing to these policies, terms and conditions.  If you have any questions about these policies, please do not hesitate to contact us.

 

Ordering:  Use our secured shopping cart and order online anytime. You can also contact us by phone at (615) 223-9998 or (877) 224-9998 or send us an e-mail at customerservice@thevacuumcenter.com and we will be happy to assist you.

  

Methods of Payment:  We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, PayPal and Google Checkout for online purchases.  We also accept Money Orders and Cashier Checks in U.S. funds only for telephone and mail orders. Return Policy:  You may return unused and unopened parts or supplies for a refund (minus shipping charges) by contacting us within thirty (30) days of the date we ship out the product to you.  You will be responsible for the costs of shipping the product back to us and appropriate deductions will be made for any missing or damaged items.  You may not return any parts or supplies that are used or opened.  If you received free shipping on your purchase, we will refund to you the cost of items returned in accordance with these policies, minus our actual costs to ship the product(s) to you initially.

 

Except as provided in the following paragraphs, you may return an unused machine (i.e., vacuum cleaners, buffers, Hoky sweepers, Dirt Devils, etc.) for a refund (minus shipping charges) by contacting us within thirty (30) days of the date we ship out the product to you.  You will be responsible for the costs of shipping the machine back to us.  The machine must be returned complete with all original items, manuals, packing materials, cartons, etc. and in its original new and unused condition. You may not return any machine that has been used.  If you received free shipping on your purchase, we will refund to you the cost of items returned in accordance with these policies, minus our actual costs to ship the product(s) to you initially.

 

There are no refunds on Kirby, Filter Queen, or Rainbow vacuum cleaners, and all purchases of these items are final.  Any Kirby, Filter Queen, or Rainbow machine returned will be rejected at the customer’s expense.

 

There are no returns on items shipped to destinations outside of the United States, and all such purchases are final.

 

In order to be able to receive a refund, you must contact us for an RMA Number via phone or email within the applicable time periods set forth above.  If you do not contact us to obtain an RMA Number within the applicable time period, your purchase will be final and no refund will be allowed. In addition, all returned items must be received by us within ten (10) business days after the RMA Number was issued in order to be eligible for a refund.  If the product is not received by us within such time period, your purchase will be final and no refund will be allowed.

 

If, upon receipt of your order, you find that your order is incorrect due to our mistake (i.e., we shipped a product not ordered by you or we failed to ship a product ordered by you), we will send you the correct item at no additional charge.  You must notify us via email or phone within seven (7) days of the date the item is delivered to the shipping address you provided us with (as shown by our delivery confirmation/tracking information) if this is the case.  If you do not notify us within such time period, you are agreeing that your order was correct in all respects.  If applicable, we may request that you return any incorrect item shipped to you at our cost, which you agree to do at our request.

 

You must notify us within thirty (30) days of the date of purchase if you do not receive your product(s).  If you do not contact us within thirty (30) days of the date of purchase, you are agreeing to accept the charges that occur and you are agreeing that you will not place a chargeback.  Notwithstanding the foregoing, risk of loss passes to you when we deliver your package to the USPS or UPS addressed to the shipping address you have provided us.  Please note that, in most cases, items are shipped without a requirement for a signature upon delivery.  Please contact us prior to placing your order if you would like to require a signature upon delivery (additional fees may apply). 

 

If you receive a damaged package upon initial delivery, we ask that you do not accept it. If you receive a damaged or defective product, please contact us for instructions.

Warranties:  Shipping on all warranty items/claims must be paid for by the customer.

 

Fraud:  We log all IP addresses and use them to investigate and prosecute fraudulent charges. The internet is a very useful tool and, unfortunately, some people abuse it. Please note that we intend to prosecute every fraudulent act made against our company.

 

Electronic Signature:  By visiting our site or by ordering any product(s) from TheVacuumCenter.com, you hereby covenant that you have read all of the policies, terms and conditions contained on this page and that you agree to be bound by such policies, terms and conditions.  You further agree that your placing an order will serve as your written signature and consent to this agreement, and you further agree that any court of law or arbitrator shall construe this agreement as signed in person by you.  This agreement is for your protection, as well as ours. We value you as a customer and thank you for your business.

 

Miscellaneous:  List prices and retail prices may have been calculated using some of the following factors: MAP, MSRP, consumers comments of what they have paid, retail stores, our regular prices and other third party services and resources. Many manufacturers do not have list prices so the above factors may have been used to determine a list price.

 

Not all rebuilt/reconditioned machines will contain original factory marks, such as stickers with manufacturer logos.

 

All trademarks and logos are rights of their legal owners. All information is checked for accuracy, however we cannot be held responsible for inaccurate information.
